Small Caps Lead the Charge as Market Cheers "No Bad News"
Stocks clawed higher Tuesday as the absence of fresh economic landmines gave bulls the upper hand. The Dow rose 214 points to 42,519 (+0.51%), the S&P 500 gained 34.42 to 5,970 (+0.58%), and the Nasdaq jumped 156 points to 19,398 (+0.81%). The Russell 2000 outpaced them all, surging 32.81 points to 2,103 (+1.58%).
The market drifted early, with investors lacking major catalysts, but breadth improved steadily. Energy, Tech, and Industrials led sector gains, while Real Estate and Staples lagged. The Fear & Greed Index eased to 56 (Greed) from 65 last week. Sector correlation to the index remains unusually high, signaling cautious optimism. Small caps took the spotlight, and the risk-on mood held as the day wore on.

Max’s Comments
Last week, I added more shares of two companies I already own. I like where both are heading. While the market’s busy chasing headlines, I’m sticking to my playbook—quietly picking up more of these boring dividend leaders.
They've been raising dividends every single year for over 15 years, all while buying back shares and doubling the reward for investors like us. I love businesses like that.
Two more companies in my portfolio gave me a reason to smile this week—one just announced a dividend increase, and the other confirmed it plans to raise its dividend later this year.
The power of compounding is gaining momentum. My dividend snowball keeps growing.
The companies we select for the Easy-Peasy Section are exceptional compounders with double-digit dividend yield potential over the next 10-12 years.
